The 2030 UN Sustainable Development Agenda recognizes the critical role of business in delivering on the promise of sustainable and inclusive development. The business case for sustainable development is based on the understanding that business and social values are interlinked and business efforts to improve lives and strengthen local communities can also have long term benefits.
The forum brought experts from different sectors to guide/help business leaders in developing a thorough understanding of how their activities translate into economic, environmental and social impacts in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals .
